What Changed
I'm pretty sure this should be "Website 5.0" โ it's the second major change to my site.
Anyway.
Much of the credit goes to Bria. She offers web design services โ check out her work: briabytes.com and her portfolio.
Why
My site's been through a few roles: it started as a portfolio, then became a research + projects platform. This redesign pulls those threads back together into one place:
- A portfolio
- A blog
- A place for recruiters to see the quality of my work
That's a genuine design challenge. Blogs tend to be small, centred columns focused on typography. I also wanted to showcase my streaming and my business ventures. Making that feel cohesive was hard โ Bria nailed it.
What's Next
In "The Illusion of Choice" I wrote about my real problem: I kept jumping between business ideas and never stuck with one. Talking to mentors helped me settle on what I actually want to do โ you'll see that in the banner at the top of every page now. And most importantly, I'm still looking for full-time employment. I think the site handles both.
